In 1987, Dan Stancer founded the business alongside selling antique furniture. From a young age, his son Gavin took a keen interest in the trade of furniture repair and restoration and developed a keen passion for all things furniture. Having taught Gavin and passed on his years of experience, in 2014, Dan handed the reigns over Gavin, who now has full responsibility of the business.

Over the past 6 years, Gavin has developed the business to introduce new services, with modern techniques, without losing the traditional methods and heritage of the business. Gavin has introduce furniture painting and kitchen restorations to keep up with the demand of his client base across South Yorkshire.

Gavin is constantly reviewing the services that the business offers and is consistently training to further his development in the trade.
